Vacation Pop In

We've been from here, to there, and too soon, it will be time to go back again. Busily busying ourselves in all the glory of the hustle of nothing, that vacation brings. We've been rushing here, to enjoy this, only to scoot over there, to happily do that.

We've put our memory making into overdrive this week and there is still so much to do. Right now, Wesley has found the art of sleeping in, Joey has walked the beach and is down for a nap, Calvin is eating overly syruped waffles for breakfast, Nate is on his way down to join us, and I just finished my last sip of coffee and am gladly going to eat salsa for breakfast at 10:00 am….sea side.

We kicked off this week with a birthday party in Massachusetts for two handsome little men, who it's hard to believe turned 6….six.years.old. These two boys, knew they had so much to offer to this world and joined it early, weighing a little over a pound each. They couldn't wait to show us all, how strong they can grow, witty and full they have become, and how funny and kind they are…and they did… and we are so glad they do.

The family flooded vacation continues. Shutter has been snapping, cheeks hurt from laughing, exercise has decreased, food intake increased, nights are late, morning early, coffee is shared with company, and beers cracked at noon.

This is very much the kind of vacation I love and the one I'll gladly be getting back to…
